Washington Department of Health's respiratory care practitioner licensing requirements page cites chapter 246-928 WAC and says that to meet the educational requirements an applicant must be a graduate of at least a two-year respiratory therapy educational program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), the American Medical Association's Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). The DMDC primary occupation on the 68V row is 29-2099.00 Health Technologists and Technicians, All Other, not a respiratory-therapist code. The page does not name 68V and does not say 68V training meets that education rule.
